Skill Session for students or NQSW

Service Description

This 1-1 skill session is an opportunity for you to focus in depth on one area of children's social work, to develop your confidence and support you in practice. We can cover: -Assessment skills -Written skills and recording -Communication -Home visits -Chairing meetings -Child protection processes -Court Skills -Interview skills and preparation These sessions are not supervision. You are not required nor should you share any case details. The purpose of these sessions is to develop your knowledge and application of theory, law and statutory guidance into practice. I share information in accessible formats to ensure you are not overwhelmed, and leave the session feeling confident!

Cancellation Policy

You can contact me by telephoning our customer service team at 07892795340 or by writing to me vicki@socialworksorted.com Business support and skills session: I do not provide refunds. You are required to pay the full amount prior to your session. If you need to reschedule your appointment please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. I allow up to 2 offers of rescheduling. Skills sessions are not a replacement for formal supervision. It is not possible to use these sessions to discuss individual cases or issues. I will not respond to direct questions relating to cases. I am not liable for any of the information shared within these sessions. I do not provide case advice. These are mentoring sessions focused on your learning needs and not a replacement for your professional direction or instruction. You should always consult decision making with your employer.
