About the event

Have you recently qualified as a social worker?

Have you recently started your ASYE programme or are soon to start?

Are you already feeling overwhelmed, wondering how you are going to manage learning new skills, balance emotional challenges and live life without work taking over?

Then this event is for you.

This masterclass is designed to leave you feeling competant, confident and most importantly calm, as you start your ASYE programme. We will look at some of the common challenges for newly qualifed social workers and practical strategies for you to overcome them, in my signature style of practical, accessible training that doesn't overwhelm you.

I'm Vicki, a social worker, trainer and consultant and I specialise in helping newly qualified social workers through their first year in practice. Three years ago I started an online platform, Social Work Sorted, which now helps thousands of social workers every week build their confidence and find calm. I host the only podcast dedicated to newly qualified social workers (Social Work Sorted: The Podcast) and I founded The Social Work Collective, an incredible membership and programme designed to complement ASYE programmes and make sure new social workers thrive in their first year. My priority has always been delivering expert training that connects to practice, I say it how it is, everything I do is backed up by a critical approach to theory, research and practice experience. I can't wait to support you through your first year in social work.
